This ClassDojo webinar will look at how you can set up ClassDojo from the very beginning.
This webinar will enable Teachers to;
- Communicate with Parents.
- To plan and set work for Students
- Allow Students and Parents to submit their work for review so that Teachers can monitor the progress of their Students
- Answer any other questions or concerns that you may have regarding ClassDojo
If you already use Class Dojo for classroom/behaviour management then Class Dojo Portfolios could be a good option to create a home-school link using your existing account. Kids can log in at school or at home using a class text code, QR code or Google account.
The portfolios tool enables students to upload different file/work types including photos of work, videos, journal (typed pieces of work e.g. weekend news, book report etc) and other files (e.g. documents).
Teachers can set tasks/assignments which students complete and the teacher moderates all work before it appears in student accounts.
Parental consent is necessary for students under 13 years of age. Sample parental consent letter: https://static.classdojo.com/docs/TeacherResources/ClassDojoPortfolios_consent.pdf

Life is an imperfect journey and crisis is guaranteed. There will always be setbacks and
misfortunes. Resilience is the ability to adapt to the challenges of life. It’s about bouncing
back rather than falling apart. If you are strong in resilience you have this ‘bouncibility’
and can harness your inner strengths and coping mechanisms.
If you are low in resilience, you will focus too much on your problems and deficits and be
overwhelmed during challenges. You will be drawn towards unhealthy conclusions and
become more vulnerable instead of stronger. Becoming more resilient will not mean that
problems disappear. It does not mean that you have to become ‘as hard as nails’.
Resilience is more about learning how to cope – tapping into our own resources and
fostering inner-strengths in order to stay ‘standing’ during and after crisis.
This seminar outlines some evidence-based strategies linked to greater
outcomes during challenge and change.
