The session will explore how dyslexia impacts literacy development, learning, processing, and classroom participation, while providing practical strategies that can be implemented immediately across both mainstream and support teaching contexts.

Presenter: Katie Tuite

Katie Tuite is a Dyslexia Specialist Teacher, she holds masters of Education in Specific Learning Difficulties and has been a primary school teacher for 17 years. She regularly visit schools for Croke Park hours, helping the staff better understand dyslexia. She also run after school dyslexia support classes for primary school children and works one-to-one with parents to help them understand their child’s diagnosis.
