Target Audience: All educators interested in promoting Reading for Pleasure.

Kirsten Barrett and Hannah Sycamore are delighted to lead the Teacher Reading Groups (TRGs) for another year.Both are keen to continue this free, evidence-informed CPD opportunity in Ireland, enriching teachers’ understanding of Reading for Pleasure (RfP) pedagogy and practice. Kirsten has taught for 15 years across a range of stages in Scotland and is continuing her Masters in Education at UCC, while Hannah brings experience from both teaching, her work with the Scottish Book Trust and her current roles supporting literacy in the science classroom. New participants and returning members are equally welcome.  Both are passionate about the importance of children reading for enjoyment and the positive impact this has on their lives.Come along to this launch to find out what the Teacher Reading Group series involves.
