Behaviour is not random. It follows patterns and serves a function.

This webinar introduces a simple, research-informed framework to help you:

  • understand behaviour as a response to demand and capacity
  • recognise the underlying drivers of behaviour
  • apply practical strategies that support regulation and learning

The focus is on real classroom application, helping you move from theory to confident action.

Presenter: Nicola Culloty

Nicola Culloty was a Primary school teacher for over 20 years (DEIS and non-DEIS settings) She worked as a Home School Community Liaison practitioner for 4 years in Rathkeale, Co. Limerick. This role had a significant impact on her both professionally and personally. It shaped how she understood people and the experiences they carry and it became the catalyst for her to support others in a different way. That experience led her to retrain in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Nicola now works as a CBT therapist and runs her own practice (Full Circle CBT). Nicola also delivers training and workshops for TUSLA, ETBs, Junior Achievement Ireland, education centres, international schools and other organisations.

  • Focus of her work:
    • School avoidance
    • Behaviour
    • Supporting professionals working in complex and emotionally demanding roles.
