Presenter: Betty Fitzgerald

Betty Fitzgerald brings almost four decades of hands-on music education experience to this webinar, including nine years lecturing at MTU Cork School of Music and twenty years as a visiting music teacher across ten Cork primary schools, where she taught and worked with hundreds of teachers in their classrooms. She holds a Master's in Education (Music) from Trinity College Dublin, and was awarded Distinction, for her dissertation which focused specifically on music CPD for primary school teachers.
At the heart of everything Betty has one simple belief — every generalist teacher already has what it takes to teach music with confidence, and that equipped with the right tools, every teacher can facilitate musical growth for their pupils.
