In this practical webinar, Senior Speech and Language Therapist, Amy Collins (@amysclt), explores Gestalt Language Processing through a neuroaffirming lens. Participants will gain an understanding of how GLPs acquire language, why echolalia is meaningful communication, and how to create communication-friendly environments that support natural language development.
This session provides practical strategies that can be implemented immediately in school and challenges common misconceptions about language development in autistic children.
