Build confidence in supporting communication beyond speech.
In this practical webinar, Senior Speech and Language Therapist, Amy Collins (@amysclt), explores Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) through a neuroaffirming lens. Participants will learn why a Total Communication approach supports communication, autonomy, and participation, discover different types of AAC systems, and understand how to create classrooms where AAC is valued and modelled naturally.
This session also addresses common myths about AAC and provides practical strategies to support communication throughout the school day.
