Date: Tuesday October 6th

Time: 7:00 pm

Venue: Online Webinar

Target Audience: Primary Teachers

The primary curriculum supports high-quality learning, teaching and assessment for all children attending primary and special schools. (PMC p.5)

This webinar will hone in one three of the principles of learning, teaching and assessment; pedagogy, engagement and assessment. In pedagogy we will explore playful ideas and approaches that should be to the core of all maths lessons. This pedagogy will feed into the engagement and participation of children through Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract and Multiple Means of Representation. Finally, maths journals and maths talk will be explored as a form of assessment and learning.
