Time: 7.00pm - 8.00pm
Venue: Online via Zoom
Target Audience: Post Primary Geography Teachers
It’s an exciting time for Geography in our post-primary schools! The new Senior Cycle specification for geography includes a unifying strand, enabling students to apply geographical thinking and skills to a greater degree than the previous specification.
Within this webinar Susan will outline possibilities for embedding this strand into the other three strands of the Geography specification to ensure engaging Geography lessons. Teachers will have the opportunity to learn more about geographical enquiry pedagogies, geographical thinking and skills within all lessons. Within the seminar teachers will also be able to share their own expertise and experiences, and resources from the webinar will be shared with participants.
