This webinar explores the foundational motor, sensory and visual skills that underpin successful handwriting and why some children continue to struggle despite repeated practice. Learn how to identify the underlying barriers affecting handwriting development and discover practical classroom strategies to build the skills children need before expecting written output.

LIATH SHEEHAN

Liath Sheehan is an Occupational Therapist based in North Cork. Liath works with children and adolescents from 0-18. Liath’s passion is providing child-led therapy that focuses on building independence and involves a child’s entire support system. Liath has completed additional training in sensory integration, cognitive behavioral therapy, feeding therapy and mindfulness for children with additional needs. @risetherapy.ie
