Target Audience: Primary 3rd - 6th Class Teachers 

This webinar will dive straight into the new component of the Primary Language Specification (2025), focusing in particular on how teachers in 3rd - 6th class can teach language awareness and intercultural competence in the classroom. The presenters will unpack the timetabling requirements for MFL/Building an Awareness of Languages and Cultures in Stage 3 (3rd and 4th class), before providing useful examples of activities to develop plurilingual teaching in the classroom. Attention will be given to practical considerations, including implications for multi-class teaching. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of what is new in the Primary Language Curriculum and what is required to put it into action.
